Harga tiket Feri Pulau Pinang.. sebelum macai jadikan isu..


Sebelum macai jadikan isu harga tiket feri Pulau Pinang yang akan dinaikkan oleh pihak Suruhanjaya Pelabuhan Pulau Pinang ni..

Untuk makluman semua.. Kerajaan pusat Barisan Nasional (BN), pada tahun 2010 telah melantik Presiden MCA ketika itu Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek sebagai pengerusi badan kawal selia pelabuhan Suruhanjaya Pelabuhan Pulau Pinang (PPC).

PPC mengeluarkan lesen kepada PPSB untuk mengendalikan pelabuhan itu yang diswastakan pada 1 Januari 1994 iaitu ketika Pulau Pinang ditadbir oleh BN.

Meskipun menerima bidaan berdaya saing daripada ahli-ahli perniagaan utama yang lain dan juga kerajaan Pulau Pinang sendiri, Kabinet telah meluluskan penjualan PPSB kepada Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary.

Syed Mokhtar menjadi pilihan kerana syarikatnya sudah pun menguruskan beberapa pelabuhan dan lapangan terbang..

Jadi perkhidmatan feri ini tak ada kena mengena dengan Kerajaan Negeri Pulau Pinang... Harap maklum.

Selain itu sila perhatikan e-mail adress pada notis yang telah ditampal disekitar terminal feri Pulau Pinang ini..


Urusan yang ada kaitan dengan Kerajaan Pusat menggunakan e-mail adress gov.my manakala yang berkaitan dengan kerajaan negeri pula penang.gov ...

GEORGE TOWN, Feb 18:

The Penang Port Commission (SPPP) is proposing to review its ferry fares with hikes of between 10 sen and RM20. A SPPP spokesman said the commission was gathering feedback from the people following the announcement notices on the new rates issued on Monday.

“Members of the public can submit comments to us on or before March 2 before the proposed fare hikes are finalised,” he said when contacted.

He said a circular on the proposal had been placed at the George Town and Butterworth ferry terminals and members of the public could conevy their views to SPPP via e-mail addressed to zalina@penangport.gov.my.

According to the proposal, the motorcycle fare will be raised from RM2 to RN3.50, for cars from RM7.70 to RM9, pedestrians from RM1.20 to RM2 and bicycles from RM1.40 to RM1.50.

He said seasonal tickets for students would be increased to RM6 from RM3 and from RM30 to RM50 for adults.

The proposed new rates for two-axle four wheel lorries is RM20 (from RM13.20) and for two-axle six wheels lorries the fare will be raised to RM40 from RN27.50 ~ The Rakyat Post
