Rosmah sangkal dakwaan berbelanja mewah

Rosmah: Aussie report on shopping spree all rubbish
KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 23, 2012): Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak's wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor today denied allegations made by an Australia daily that she spent over RM325,000 (A$100,000) at a designer boutique recently.
"It's all rubbish. It's all wildly exaggerated," she told theSun and Malaysiakini after attending the MCA Chinese New Year open house here at Wisma MCA.
Sydney Morning Herald, columnist Andrew Horney had called Rosmah the "first lady of shopping", for allegedly spending RM325,000 at a Sydney boutique.
Sydney designer Carl Kapp had reportedly said that his "biggest customer" had spent the hefty amount during a "private holiday" there recently.
Rosmah said that she was not affected by this allegation.
"I've come across many of these kind of accusations. I have no time to handle or entertain all this," she said.
According to the column in the daily, Rosmah and Najib had during their holiday stayed at the A$20,000 (RM65,100) a night penthouse at the newly-minted five-star Darling Hotel.
It also alleged that she was flying Kapp out to Malaysia for fittings of the 61 dresses, pants and tops she ordered.
However, Rosmah denied it saying "it is all wildly exaggerated".
"They all like to make this kind of accusations. I'm always the victim.
"The Australian designer will be making a statement soon," she said.
The Australian daily reported that Kapp had said that Rosmah had selected her clothes made from the finest silk and in a variety of exotic colours and prints.
Such allegations involving Rosmah are not new.
She had recently come under fire for allegedly purchasing a diamond ring worth RM24 million, which she vehemently denied.
Rosmah was also alleged to own several Hermes handbags worth thousands of ringgit.
