Chua Soi Lek kata Gambar dan Video tidak menyatakan kebenaran..

Orang kata “a picture tells a thousand words” tapi Presiden MCA ni lain pulak ceritanya..

Presiden MCA Dr Chua Soi Lek hari ini mendakwa photo dan video rakaman tentang Polis menembak Gas Pemedih mata kedalam kawasan Hospital Tung Shin tidak semestinya menceritakan kejadian yang sebenar kerana ianya boleh dimanipulasi..


Mungkin Presiden MCA ini tidak pernah mendengar apa yang dikata “a picture tells a thousand words” kerana dalam kenyataannya yang cuba untuk menegakkan benang yang basah untuk mempertahankan kononnya pihak Polis tidak menembak gas Pemedih mata kekawasan Hospital beliau telah berkata gambar boleh menipu dan adalah sukar untuk menterjemahkan apa sebenarnya telah berlaku.

Seterusnya korang bacalah kat bawah..

Hmmm… bak kata orang “Kepala Bapak Dia!!!”.. berlambak video yang diupload kedalam YouTube, beratus gambar disiarkan oleh berbagai media termasuk Blog, dia masih menafikan hakikat sebenar.. adakah para pemimpin dalam BN masih tidak tahu majority rakyat tidaklah sebodoh pencacai UMNO/BN?

Bodoh kerana hanya mempercayai apa yang disiarkan oleh media-media tunggangan UMNO/BN tanpa memperdulikan siaran dari berita-berita lain yang lebih telus.

Kenyataan Presiden MCA itu sama bodohnya dengan kenyataan Liow Tiong Lai yang kelmarin telah menyalahkan angin yang meniup Gas Pemedih mata yang ditembak oleh Polis kedalam kawasan Hospital.. sila baca di SINI

Adakah mereka ini benar-benar bodoh atau sengaja memperbodohkan diri sendiri demi menegakkan benang basah?

Chua: Pictures, videos don’t tell the truth

KUALA LUMPUR: MCA president Dr Chua Soi Lek must have not heard of the adage “a picture tells a thousand words”. Today he came out in defence of the police firing tear gas into the compound of Tung Shin Hospital by saying pictures can be deceiving and it is difficult to determine what exactly transpired at the hospital on Saturday.

“A picture may not convey the total story, depending on the angle the picture is shot,” he said.

“It’s just like sometimes newspapers will show the picture of a politician: if they don’t support the politician, they will always show him looking very angry, very sad.”

Chua’s shocking statement comes after numerous eyewitness accounts, and photographic and video evidence showed that the police had fired tear gas into Tung Shin Hospital.

He also said that the police were doing their job when they fired tear gas “near” the hospital.

Chua, a former health minister, said police did what they had to do because they wanted to protect the patients from Bersih 2.0 protesters who used the hospital as refuge.

He said that it was important that the situation be viewed impartially, adding that the police would have been criticised for failing to disperse the protesters who had gathered in the compound.

“If the police don’t do anything, people will say the police failed to safeguard the patients in the hospital,” he told a press conference at the party headquarters here.

Yesterday, Health Minister and MCA deputy president, Liow Tiong Lai, denied opposition allegation that tear gas was fired into the hospital compound.

However, opposition politicans claimed that pictures and videos depicting a true account of the incident have been circulating on the Internet.

Liow, who was also present at today’s conference, said that he was informed by Tung Shin’s management that the tear gas was fired into a nearby carpark and not into the hospital compound.

He said that both the health and home ministries will look into the incident, adding that the people should stop speculating and allow the police to do their job.

“If there is any other proof… let the police investigate. So be patient for the report,” he said.
